Using Infographics as an AssessmentAre you tired of grading yet another research paper?  Consider assigning a research infographic instead.  Keep the content but change the presentation method!  In this workshop you will see examples of the successful use of research infographics as an assessment and be provided with suggested resources for their creation and evaluation.  Examples will focus on organic chemistry but no science knowledge is required for their enjoyment!

Podcasting involves creating audio or “enhanced” audio recordings that are downloadable to any mobile device. Podcasts can be used by teachers to supplement learning or by students to create digital assignments. Together we’ll discuss the pedagogy, the evidence and the how-to and possibilities of Podcasting.
